Flucht in die Finsternis ist der Titel einer 1931 veröffentlichten Novelle von Arthur Schnitzler. Erzählt wird die Psychose des Ministerialbeamten Robert, der seinen Bruder Otto im Verfolgungswahn ermordet, weil er ihn für wahnsinnig hält und sich von ihm bedroht fühlt. Nach der Tat flieht er ins Gebirge und stürzt in den Tod.
